CES-NJ - Council of Elementary Science, New Jersey... a great resource for elementary teachers that want to know more about hands-on science.  Check out their annual conference!

NJ-BISEC - New Jersey Business Industry and Science Education Consortium ...the oldest business and education alliance in the state.  Registered as a NJ State Inservice Provider, NJ-BISEC offers teachers paid opportunities to experience science first hand.  

NJSTA - New Jersey Science Teachers' Association...A great resource for both elementary and secondary science teachers.  Their three day conference is one of the best in the state!

SJSTA - South Jersey Science Teachers Association...a great resource for teachers in the southern part of our state... and yes... there are parts of New Jersey past Trenton!

NJ DOE - New Jersey Department of Education page.  New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards,  a list of approved vendors for all kinds of teacher inservice, information about the new 100 hour inservice requirement for teachers, and requirements for certification can be found here. 

Woodrow Wilson Foundation - Non-profit organization that offers stipends to teachers for attending science workshops during the summer.  Check out their trip to Costa Rica!

NSF - National Science Foundation - Provides fellowships, awards and grants for teachers all over the country.  Check out the PAEMST - Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching Math and Science.  It's a way cool vacation!

NSTA - National Science Teachers Association - Science teachers dedicated to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all.

SSI - Space Studies Institute - Cool pictures from Space!

Hubble Site - Lots of pictures and information from the Hubble Space Telescope. Also includes EDU Space, the Space Telescope Science Institute's Office of Public Outreach Education Group supports astronomy and space science education for grades K-12. There's even a Fun & Games page!

SLF - Spacelink Learning Foundation  - a UK-registered Charity who wish to teach and learn through the excitement of the medium of outer space.

NASA Kids - Very cool interactive games, stories, and space pictures.  Make sure to check out the Mars Lander and Galaxy Concentration games.

Yahooligans - Censored for content by Yahoo, this is a great search engine for kids.  

Beakman - There are some great interactive experiments here.  Check out the one on magnetism.  It makes the power of a magnet make sense, even to kids as young as second graders!

BlueMountain - Free interactive cards that let you keep in touch with friends, neighbors and students quickly.  It's always nice to let someone know you're thinking about them.

Hotwheels - Great interactive games using hot wheels cars to help promote hand-eye coordination and higher level thinking skills

Funbrain - Interactive math and language games.  My kids particularly like Math Baseball

How Stuff  Works - The goal of this page is to show you many of the coolest and most interesting parts of the site so that you can get the most out of How Stuff Works every time you come to visit!

Billy Billingsport - Grace Morina, a Kindergarten teacher at our school won the Technology Teacher of the Year award for this site.  This project brought the school together and afforded all our students a chance to develop their writing skills and learn about geography as Billy literally traveled through our school and around the world.
